Several folks have asked how it was made, so here goes: Canon EOS 1D Mk II, Sigma 70mm f2.8 Macro lens, ISO 200, F5.6, 1/250th, -1/3 exp, distance about 3cm, early morning on the Oregon coast, bright sunshine against a dark, loamy soil.
